Ingredients
For 6-8 pitas:
- 3 cups of Flour
- 3 tsp of Baking Powder
- 1.5 cup of Milk or Yoghurt
- 1 tsp of Salt
- 1 tsp of Vinegar
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients well
- Let the dough rest for 15 mins
- Cut the dough into 6-8 equal pieces
- Sprinkle the counter with a handful of flour
- Using the rolling pin, roll the dough until it reaches 0.5-0.8 cm of height and the diameter of a normal pita bread
- Heat up a pan on the stovetop and add preferably some olive oil
- Fry each dough piece for 1-2 minutes on each side
