Ingredients

For 6-8 pitas:

  • 3 cups of Flour
  • 3 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1.5 cup of Milk or Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tsp of Vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients well
  2. Let the dough rest for 15 mins
  3. Cut the dough into 6-8 equal pieces
  4. Sprinkle the counter with a handful of flour
  5. Using the rolling pin, roll the dough until it reaches 0.5-0.8 cm of height and the diameter of a normal pita bread
  6. Heat up a pan on the stovetop and add preferably some olive oil
  7. Fry each dough piece for 1-2 minutes on each side
